#BBNaija: My father had 14 Governors in London for his birthday; ran-away from home at 16 - Kiddwaya talks about Dad (Video)

Big Brother Naija housemate, Kiddwaya has shared the childhood story of his Billionaire father, Terry Waya, and how he struggled while he was young.

Speaking to fellow housemates, Kiddwaya revealed that his father who hails from Benue State, was born into a really poor family.

Kiddwaya said at a tender age, his father was really stubborn and always sneaked out of the house in search of a better means of livelihood.

He further noted that his father is a great leader who loves carrying people along. He said his father’s hardworking nature made his wealthy, and he’s very privileged to be his son.

BBNaija housemate, Kiddwaya has said his billionaire father, Terry Waya, took fourteen Nigerian governors to London for his birthday.

Kiddwaya said the act by his father in 2001 caught the attention of the then president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Kiddwaya said: “My dad took 14 governors during Obasanjo’s tenure for his birthday to London and that caused a problem.

“However, he did not care and does things for himself because he loves to organize events and connect people.

“I’m who I am because of him and my story is not a pity one but I’m grateful to him. Throughout his time, he has made people senators and governors.”

Kiddwaya, speaking to housemates about his dad’s achievement, said Terry Waya who had polio at a young age, ran away from home to Kaduna State and came back three years later.

He mentioned that his father came back at age 19 and bought his mother a house and established his five brothers.

According to him, since then he has been growing in business.

Kiddwaya said: “My dad ran away from home at the age of 16 to Kaduna State, returned after three years and bought my mother a house.

He always ran from home because he had polio and did not get to go to school like his brothers.

“Since then he introduced my uncles to his business and things have been rosy.”
